Lower Back Pain – Sciatica

Hi – I have been suffering from sciatica since mid-Nov-17. In the past two weeks I have stopped all the medication (naproxen and paracetamol). My left leg is more flexible now, but I still have constant steady pain in my lower left back. Occasionally, I get pins and needles in my left leg when I wake up in the morning. I can still feel the nerve pain in my lower left back. I am not sure what I need to do to fully eliminate the pain. I would be grateful if you could please advise.

It looks like you have nerve root irritation in your low back. This can be due to a variety of causes but is most commonly because of a ‘slipped disk’.

If I were you I’d go to see a local chiropractor for an examination which should produce a diagnosis and lead on to treatment to resolve your injury.
