Can you help?

Hi I have seen a chiropractor previously and an osteopath but neither helped me. I have recently had an MRI and have been diagnosed with L4/L5 posterior disc bulge with central annular. There is narrowing of AP canal diameter and contact with descending roots. My main problem however is not my back but my hips as they do not move properly (I cannot sit crossed legged on the floor for example). I am awaiting an x ray on my pelvis but doubt it will show much as I feel the problem is more to to do with nerves/muscles? However a previous chiropractor did say my hips were misaligned (but did nothing to align them). I am on a waiting list to be seen by an advanced physiotherapy practitioner in orthopaedics but how long is a piece of string?! Sorry for the long message but I need to know: 1. Do you think you can help? 2. Following the initial consultation, how long are your treatment sessions for? Kind regards Tammy Allen

Hello Tammy,

I have no idea if I can help! All I can say is that I usually help my patients. I really need to examine you to get a better idea of what’s going on before I could give you a better answer.

We allow 15 minutes in our diary for a normal appointment but some treatments don’t take that long and if someone often needs longer, we allow more time free of charge.

Kris
