Can you help my pain I’m getting from sciatica would this be on 1st appointment?

Hi,

We usually treat on the first appointment unless we need more tests or results of tests you’ve already had but that’s not normally the case.

Whether the first treatment will help is unsure as it can sometimes take two or three treatments before symptoms start to improve (much like how someone might not see improvements with a drug immediately). Other times patients notice an improvement straight away or after a few hours. It varies from patient to patient depending on cause, severity, how long the condition has been there etc.
